Gerdau Metaldom unifies its administrative operations in the Duarte Industrial Park

Santo Domingo.- The Dominican multinational company Gerdau Metaldom inaugurated a new building in its facilities in the Duarte Industrial Park, where the company's administrative tasks will be consolidated in a first stage. The second stage of the project, scheduled for the last quarter of the year, completes the unification of all its operations and includes new, more modern and efficient production warehouses.

"This year has been one of challenges and transformations in every way, so inaugurating this new building that has a modern concept designed to transform and reinvent the experience of our customers, fills us with great satisfaction," said Jefferson Marko, executive president of Gerdau Metaldom.

He explained that the new administrative building oriented to the opening offers facilities for the benefit of the employees' day, with open spaces that facilitate the dynamization of the processes. Likewise, customers will have access to a showroom of products grouped by segment so that they can learn about the complete portfolio available to each business, among other facilities.

The executive also clarified that the delivery of goods remains unchanged in the towns of the Duarte Industrial Park and the Industrial Zone of La Isabela.

The project in its entirety represents an investment of 15.8 million dollars, while the steel multinational adds more than 35,000 m² of construction to its spaces located on the Duarte Highway, strengthening its leadership in the country and the region.

Gerdau Metaldom is the main company in the manufacture of finished steel products in the Dominican Republic, with an installed capacity of more than one million tons per year.

The company has two locations and several production plants located in La Isabela Industrial Zone and Duarte Industrial Park, it also has a generating plant on the Malecón de Santo Domingo, as well as distribution centers in Costa Rica and Puerto Rico, thus serving the Dominican market and that of Central America and the Caribbean.
