METALDOM Promotes Prevention with “Protect What You’ve Built”
2026 Sep 22
Protecting what we build is also part of the building process. With this in mind, METALDOM is launching “Protect What You’ve Built” during the 2026 hurricane season—an initiative that is part of its #MetaldomTeCuida platform and brings the conversation about prevention to three areas where protecting what has been built is essential: the home, the construction site, and the business.
Through digital content and in-store activities at customer locations, METALDOM seeks to educate, guide, and support its audiences in preparing for the season’s risks, providing practical and relevant recommendations tailored to the different situations they may face.
As part of this initiative, meteorologist Jean Suriel once again joins the conversation to share his experience and knowledge about atmospheric phenomena that may impact the Dominican Republic, helping to turn information into preventive decisions.
The commitment to prevention also starts from within. METALDOM employees participated in an educational session with Jean Suriel on climate change, the hurricane season, and atmospheric phenomena that may impact the country, strengthening their knowledge and preparedness as part of the company’s culture of prevention.
With this new edition, METALDOM is taking #MetaldomTeCuida beyond a seasonal campaign, transforming it into an information and support platform that aims to raise awareness, guide decision-making, and promote concrete actions to protect what we have built.
