INICIA Group to purchase shares in Diaco and Gerdau Metaldom

The INICIA business group announced the purchase of Gerdau S.A.'s shares in Gerdau Diaco Holding, the parent company of Diaco (Colombia) and Gerdau Metaldom (Dominican Republic).

With this transaction, INICIA becomes the majority shareholder and reinforces its commitment to the development of the steel industry in the Caribbean and Central America region.

The operation seeks to strengthen the competitive position of both companies, promote innovation in steel products, and continue to boost the regional economy through jobs and sustainable projects.
