Gerdau Metaldom manages to expand international certifications of its products

Santo Domingo.- Gerdau Metaldom has just become the only company in the Dominican Republic that sells electro-welded mesh and corrugated steel wire with national and international certification.
The Technical Standards Institute of Costa Rica (INTECO) extended the certification to Gerdau Metaldom under the international standard ISO / IEC 17067:2003 for these products, since previously the company had the same certification for the production of conventional steel bars and corrugated to reinforce concrete.
“With the expansion of this certification, we achieve a differentiating element in the national and regional market that also favors the acceptance and trust of our clients. We feel highly committed to the quality of our processes and constant improvement," said Jefferson Marko, CEO of Gerdau Metaldom.
The electro-welded mesh and corrugated steel wire are certified under the Dominican standard NORDOM 758/771 and the international standards ASTM A 1064/INTE C402.
