Electrowelded Mesh
Welded meshes are manufactured in accordance with the requirements of ASTM A1064 for meshes made of smooth and corrugated wire rod.
By means of an electrical welding process, in which there is no added material, a homogeneous fusion of the steel is obtained, leaving it permanently welded and spaced in its required position.
Applications
They are used in the construction of foundation slabs and mezzanines, load-bearing walls, prefabricated elements, rigid pavements, concrete floors and pipes, among others.
As its advantages we can mention: economy in steel, by using high-strength steel (5,600 kg/cm2), it reduces by 75% the time of placement and supervision lowering the cost of labor, the use of wire for ties is reduced to a minimum, precision in the separation of the steels transverse and longitudinal which allows a better uniformity in the distribution of the load, Waste and inventory control.
